2. I didn't realize how many blogs were in existence. I also did not know that many popular news websites started as simple blogs.

I didn't know that blogs were so widely read. I was also surprised that people can make a ton of money with their blogs, (although it's a very small percentage.)

2. I didn't know how much blogs are still used and up to date. I didn't know that we blogs are still on the rise.

2. I learned that the term blog was coined in the 1990s, that 50.4% of people blog during business hours and that nearly 14 million new blogs were launched on WordPress.com in 2013.

1. It was interesting to see that more than 50% of bloggers post during business hours. Especially due to the perception that employers prefer for employees to not be on the Internet so viewers numbers would be interesting to see.
ReplyDeleteAlso found it interesting that 60% of bloggers are men. When in my mind, the blogosphere consisted of mostly women.

1. I didn't know that blogging is as popular as it is. Having and keeping up with a solid blog can allow you to get a job, didn't think that could be a case.
