One of the most important things i feel like I've learned is that the more pictures and videos you have the more popular your blog will be. The second most important thing is making your blog easy to read with simple font and simple color schemes.
1.) I have learned that you need pictures in your blog to capture the audience and make your blog seem more appealing. 2.) The second most important thing I learned is the comparison of quotes to "eye contact".
One important thing I've learned about blogging is how important headlines are in attracting readers. I've also learned that breaking your post up into smaller paragraphs and including quotes helps keep the readers attention.
One important thing I have learned about blogging is how important it is to stay on topic with the blog, make sure you are not just randomly talking about things that don't relate to your blog. Another important thing I have learned is how important is it to have visuals. It's hard to keep viewers when the only thing they have to look at is words on a screen.
Seeing as I can get pretty long-winded, I think one very important thing I learned would be to keep things short and simple. Another important thing I learned is how to keep my posts organized. If you can't explain in one simple sentence what you're posting about, then you need to reorganize the post.
1. Color tells the story with emotion. The color you pick for your blog can really help detail where you are going and who you are attracting in your blog. 2. Know your audience- that is a huge factor when blogging.
I did blog when I was in Korea, but that blog was more likely to be my personal diary rather than being popular blog. Doing this blogging, I'm learning how other people think about my blog such as readability or arranging pictures. I'm trying to set my blog to learn something about calligraphy, so that I can share my experience with other people. Also, visiting other calligraphy blogs and watch what they do gives me a lot of inspiration how to lead and run the blog more effectively.
The main thing I've learned in this class is the importance of headlines. I usually write a headline really quick and move on, but I need to start thinking them through a little bit more.

Two of the most important things I learned about blogging is a lot of consideration goes into every detail of a blog down to the colors, type of font, and how you talk. I also learned that blogging can serve as a powerful marketing tool when used correctly to earn you a couple of bucks in the long run.
The most important things that I've learned so far: -Blogs take a lot more planning than I previously believed. The picture placement, picture usage, content, color, font, etc... everything about a blog needs to work together to attract and keep readers and it takes a game plan. -I am terrible at planning... No but seriously, I have learned that i need to take more time to come up with headlines. I used to use stupid/funny (I thought they were) Headlines that required not much thought. Headlines could be the difference between 120 clicks and 0.

1) I have learned the importance of readability. Having a dark background made my blog hard to read - while I was looking to be bold I learned that I can have a bold presentation without compromising on readability.
2) I have learned that quality pictures speak professionalism, a grainy or bad quality picture doesn't make a good first impression

1) I have learned the importance of consistency with not only my writing but the images I use to add to my writing. 2) I have learned that the blog is almost your personal diary. You can post about what you would like.
I have learned how to use power words and I have also learned how to make my titles more interesting. Another thing that I have learned is how to make a blog in general, I am getting better at organizing my blog and making it easier to read.
