  1. I've learned that there are lots of different fonts that you can use, but you shouldn't always use them. Picking a font that is easier to read will make everyones life easier. I've also learned that there are many different blogs out there and there is really something for everyone to read. Blogging about something you are passionate about is the key to a good blog. Not only will it be enjoyable for to write, but your followers will enjoy reading it.

  3. Today's lesson on fonts and sans serif vs. serif, was something that really interested me and that I didn't know before. I always knew that there were certain fonts that were appropriate, depending on what your using the font for. One thing that stuck out to me today that I will start keeping in mind was that just because the fonts are available, doesn't mean you should use them.

  4. So far I've learned how to mindfully express myself. Along with how much comes into play with making your blog look appealing. For me, I do not really care what other people think about my designs, but I do want my blog to be able to be readable for viewers. I really enjoy the class and making things my own!

  5. The first thing I can think of is the lesson on fonts, I never knew they were so important and the differences between serif and sanserrif. Another thing I have learned so far is how to set up a blog like creating the page, coming up with a name, and deciding on what to write about. I also learned about the blogging culture and how many people run blogs that make money. It can be used as a creative tool in journalism

  6. I agree with others that fonts are important. But whats more interesting is how the font choice, be it color or style, can affect how your audience interprets your blog. A blog with easy to read font and minimal themes can be more appealing than an elaborate blog with loud colors and texts. Basically, all aspects about your blog choices can have an impact.

  10. I've learned how handy blogs can be for a fan of sports and someone who wants to let their opinion out. Sports talk is mainly opinion and blogs allow people to let them out. Blogs are very useful for people that enjoy to write. I don't have a Facebook which gives you all the space you want so you can say as much as you want. Twitter only gives me so many characters to type. Facebook doesn't grasp the same sense as a blog does. Blogs are the best way to get whatever it is you'd like to get off your chest about a topic that you love to talk about. I've learned how to make a blog the correct way.

  18. I've learned that thee is a huge range of blogs that can be successful and that some sites that I didn't even realize were blogs, are just glorified versions of such. This class has given me a better definition of what a blog actually is and how versatile they are at expressing information.

  19. I have learned that little details of a blog are what most likely determine the success. It is a combination of first your wording and visuals then content. If you don't have attractive visuals, it won't get read no matter how good the subject of your blog is.
