  1. I liked the idea of adding different colors to your blog but still keeping it conservative and classy. Im not crazy about the picture in the bottom left corner but for some that may be good. I like that you can add little tool bars to the side of your page to help direct viewers. Lastly, I like how they said the header of your blog is important because it catches the readers attention. So make your header clean and creative!

  2. I think I have a pretty good payout when it comes to the actual blog posts, but i didn't realize how much the look and design of the blog actually come into play. I have everything structured okay but i definitely have to work on the cosmetics to make it more appealing to the eye of the reader.

  3. Something that I had thought about before that was mentioned in the article was adding a favicon. I've gotten a few hits from outside the united states already, and if I want to continue working on building up a readership outside of just myself and perhaps my immediate circle of friends, this could be a good way to add a little bit of credibility pretty quickly.

  4. I like the idea of the Blog Post Signature. I think it would add a more personal touch to my blog. I also want to add a Blog Favicon. The article says it makes your blog appear more credible, and I think I should add that.

  5. I think the idea of a Favicon is great. It gives your blog almost a an image that everyone can associate with your blog. Also I think my fonts could vary a little less and I can try to match my sidebar fonts with my post and title fonts.

  6. I think as far as being organized and not sloppy my blog is okay. I do think that, like mentioned in the article, I could benefit from having an image with my header just to give it more character. Along with that I think I should add the icons of other social media sites that I am on, just to expand my reader's knowledge of me. The final thing that I really liked was adding a Blog Post Signature. I think it would add creativity to my posts, as well as make it a little bit more authentic.

  7. The blog background segment is interesting, even though mine covers the full screen. I thought it’s interesting because it’s basically telling the blogger to fill the space with either color or an image. I like the fact of having an image as the background because you can go in and make it tiled so that it’s repeating itself.
I like how it’s saying to be consistent, not only in the coloring for the blog, but in choosing the font as well.

I like the idea of the post divider because it will make the blog more organized and better looking. I like the idea of a favicon in the sense of it talking about making the blog credible. Obviously, depending on your topic, you’re hoping that your words themselves are doing the job in the end, and with enough research, that can be fulfilled.

  8. I think it would be fun to come up with a good favicon it is something so simple but that can really improve the brand of your blog. I also like the idea of a blog post signature, whether that be an actual signature or a phrase you always end with, kind of like we have talked about in class it is a fun way to enhance your posts and blog as a whole.

  9. I really like the idea of the post signature thing. It gives readers something to remember about your blog. Its a personal thing readers will not forget about when leaving your blog. I also agree with the different fonts. Too many fonts does make your blog look sloppy and inconsistent.

  10. The main idea I gained was adding some sort of divider to my page to separate the posts when on the homepage. I also like the idea of having a visual sign off. I have a tag that I put at the end, but something more visual could help give me more of a personal signature.

  11. An idea that I got from this post concerning design was that I could change my background to where it is not as busy in the background. The readers eye will be focused on the background instead of the blog post that is attempting to be communicated.

  12. I feel like my blog looks plain so I liked the tip of putting a picture as my background. I also like the post signature idea to add uniqueness. I never would've thought of this.
