  1. Emily, I would start following that blog you adopted too. I think it's really pretty cute, and of course relates to what girls like. Neat blog and simple. I like her passion about what she does and share it with others.

Laura, Royce young's blog? Oh my... I like it. Oh no. I love it! I get information about thunder game results. You just need to be passionate and love what you choose to do.

  2. Royce and Rachel are similar in their advice to other bloggers concerning passion and having your own identity. Both bloggers said passion and voice are important, and I think it's important to remember that.

  3. Emily's blog was neat in the way that the blogger is very successful at blogging but also very successful at many other things, such as design, at the same time.

Laura's blog was interesting in the way that the blogger is an independent guy, writing about something extremely popular and of high interest.

  4. I loved both of these blogs. I like that they have changed their blog status into brand status. I love the Thunder blog and that he has made a deep connection with the players... that's amazing!

  5. Royce and Rachel both wanted to emphasize that you have to remain true to your passions. You have to stay true to your voice and blog about things you're passionate about in order to succeed, otherwise you'll lose interest and give up.

  6. Have your own voice and be passionate about your work. Blogging will come easy if creating your own content. This will make you different from everyone else.

  7. The Pencil Shavings Studio is an excellent blog that shows how a well-managed page should look. She supports the "real voice" advice too.

The Daily Thunder is a good template for those sports writers who want to connect with the entire fan base.

  8. The two of you did an outstanding job putting together your outlines!

Emily's blog is very unique. I like that Rachel took this from just a blog to her career. Also, it is awesome she blogged about her interview referring to considering herself a professional (I will be reading that one).

Laura blog was interesting because the Thunder always provide interest, especially this time of the year. I liked that Royce is so active and very responsive. I also like that he posts a lot of little posts. Much better than the bigger ones.

    Thunder Up!

  9. Emily's blog adoption was interesting because of its content. I related it a lot to my blog adoption in that the money does not come directly from the blog, but it is generated in some ways by the blog.

Laura's blog adoption was nice because of the Thunder. I think it's neat to see a guy who saw what potential the Thunder was bringing. A journalism major, nonetheless.

  10. Emily's blog is very impressive because i felt it is very targeted towards that particular audience. Also, I like how the design of the blog is very simple and clean. MAke it very easy to read.

Laura's blog is great. I love how such a passionate fan can be so consistent about writing about a team for so long. From the looks of it, I hope he can keep it up throughout the career of the team.

  11. As we have heard with all successful bloggers, the advice is always to keep blogging even when no one is reading, have good content, and know what your blog is really about.

  12. I think both Emily and Laura's bloggers centered around the same main piece of advice my blogger emphasized: passion. If you truly are passionate about what you do, or what you blog about, it shows. It brings an energy to it that attracts other people, even if they don't quite share the same interests.

  13. Emily, I love the design aesthetic behind the blog you adopted. The blog resonates strongly with its target audience and I admire that.

Laura, I love the Daily Thunder/Collison too. I think the best thing about Royce is that he is extremely objective in spite of his fandom. He even deals with trolls in a respectable manner.

  14. Emily's adopted blog has so much character. The ascetic of the blog itself is clean yet quirky. All of Rachel's posts on pencil shavings blog is creative, yet still makes the reader want to come back for more.

Laura's adopted blog the content that her adopted blog shared was relevant and held substance. I like the fact that the blog is centered around one emphasis which shows that the blogger is a credible source.
