  1. Something that I learned about blogging through reviewing these sites, is that bloggers can join together. This was kind of kind of like a duh light bulb moment for me, but I have always thought of blogging as being a lonely profession. However, on each one of these sites, people have joined together and are blogging on topics that are related and "bounce" off each other. In particular, I found this to be true on the Oklahoma Women Bloggers site. I think it is so cool how women all around Oklahoma can connect together through blogging. Blogging definitely does not have to be a lonely pass time, but can actually be one of the best connecting and networking resources!

  2. One thing I was not aware of was that blog Oklahoma existed. I had no idea there was a group made specially for Oklahoma bloggers. I really enjoyed browsing through all the different blogs, and also really enjoyed being able to type in a key word and having a blog related to that pull up. I think I will most definitely be joining blog Oklahoma so I can give more people the opportunity to read my blog.

  3. I learned from looking at Berry Tramel's blog that the key to having a successful blog might be pumping out a ton of content. I thought I wrote a bunch, but when compared to Tramel who has posted two articles this morning, my content seems to be lacking.

  4. Something I found cool on these blogs was how on the Oklahoma Women Bloggers they have a word of the month and then everyone blogs about that topic. This month's was Prepare so this weeks blogs are about how to prepare and stay organized in the workplace. People blog about how they do that and then you can just scroll through al the other blogs and learn while you blog! I always though blogs were kinda a solo game, but it's neat that they can all be linked together and blogging about the same subject. I didn't know blogs could bring everyone together and learn from all the other bloggers out there and that is pretty cool if you ask me.

  5. I learned how blogging can really connect different types of communities. I knew blogs were a form of expression of an individual's interest but never really understood how it brings different people from all over together on a similar topic. I really liked looking at the the women's blog because it brought women together from different states and each one had different interests, but just something as simple as being from the same area made it a common ground for these women.

  6. Something new I learned is that there are blogging communities like the OKWB. I had no idea that sites like this existed that ban together bloggers. I guess I always thought blogging was an individual kind of thing.

  7. First of all I learned that the blogs is that they exist. I find it interesting that there are sites where you can find blogs by Oklahomans. Blog Oklahoma is interesting because you are able to join and then others can search for your blogs on there. Oklahoma Women Blogger is a great concept. I actually went ahead and joined it. It has topics for each month to blog about. These blogs are connecting Oklahomans together and I want to be apart of them.

  9. I really found interest in the Oklahoma Women Bloggers blog! I like that the blog itself was a blogging community and brought light and awareness to female bloggers everywhere. I like the material on the blog and I liked that it offered so many other options on the same topics and genre. I think often times blogging can get over complicated, but this blog specifically showed how simplistic blogging can be. It can be a community of people who share the same insights on things and are willing to offer their own bits and pieces of knowledge and information.

  10. I learned that each state has its own connected women bloggers. I think it's a great way for women in blogging to be able to connect with one another, support one another, and discuss similar topics through blogging.

  11. I enjoyed looking at the OKWB. They use the words "grow, gather and connect" as the basis of their page. It's interesting to see not only the large group of Oklahoma women coming together as bloggers but also their 'sister bloggers' from surrounding states. I'm learning that the blogging community is very supportive of one another.

  12. The new thing that I found while looking through these blogs was a super cool idea found on the Oklahoma Women Bloggers site. There they have an editorial theme for every month in the year and I just thought that was such a cool idea and topic. For example in August it was the word sizzle and September was Prepare. I just found this very interesting and something that I had never come across before. Such a cool idea and its something that really interests me and something I may have to include to my blog!

  13. I had no idea that a blogging community such as blogoklahoma even existed in my own backyard. Not only can you browse member's writings, but if you sign up, you can share writing tips. Plus, this format gives bloggers a chance to connect. The site is even more complete with podcasts!

  14. Berry Tramels blog on newsok.com was really inspiring for me, even though my blog for the class isn't a sports blog that is my passion and I have always looked to up to things that Berry Tramel does.
