Official blog of Clark's Blogging for Journalists class, Mass Communication department
I want to keep my blog as a personal diary and track my last semester of college.
I think the advice to blog about your passion is the best advice a blogger could get. Blogging about your passion will help keep your blog on track.
This brainstorming idea is a great idea to come up with an idea for your blog. Also Blogging about what you are passionate about is important.
I like how the author of the article provided good ways to identify the specific nature of a personal blog, helping to narrow its focus and improve the blog's content. It helped me think about the different things I could write about for my blog about movies.
I agree with Austin about blogging about your passions. It's easier to write about topics you are passionate about and have extensive knowledge about when blogging.
The perspective I have for blogging is the fact the author is in complete control of its writings and reveals a part of themselves to the world in an unique way. Blogging itself encourages us to dive even more deeper into a topic we are truly passionate about and contribute a perspective that only we have. Yes, there may be others that may share that same passion, but the way we express it is completely and personally our own.
I want to write something interesting and different. I have traveled a lot of place, so I want to post some pictures and their foods, culture. I think that will be interesting.
I think that it is important to stay focussed on the main point of your blog and not to stray too far away from the subject. I think that by sticking true to the intent of my blog, I will gather more followers. I want to expose people to the vast amount of religion in the bible belt and the world. I want to help them open their minds and explore the infinite realms of possibilities.
I also really enjoyed the brainstorming. I think it helped really get an understanding of wjat exactly I will be blogging about. My blog with mainly cover Broadway musicals that I enjoy along with Broadway singers and also up and coming singers to watch out for in the future.
